The VCC-3 Consoles provides the user several accessory choices on how the user would want to communicate.
Recently ETC’s VCC-3 USB Command Dispatch Consoles were shipped to Anderson Air Force Base in Guam to enhance the operator experience and convenience when using the Wave dispatch solution from Twisted Pair a Motorola company. The VCC-3 Consoles provides the user several accessory choices on how the user would want to communicate. The choices are a built-in Gooseneck Microphone, Mono Plantronics headset, Stereo Plantronics headset and if requested a wireless Plantronics headset. The system requires a dedicated Push-to-Talk (PTT) closure when the user needs to transmit (talk). The VCC-3 can be keyed (PTT) using a plug-in Foot switch, the built-in PTT switch on the VCC-3 and handheld PTT switches that connect between the VCC-3 and the various headsets. It has been reported that the VCC-3s made life so much easier for the console operators that they would not have used the dispatch system without them.
